Caroline found her love of fabrics and sewing very early on. She remembers asking for a sewing machine when she was only 8 years old and would spend all her pocket money at the fabric stores. Caroline knew at eight years old exactly who she was going to be.
Encouraged to pursue her dream of fashion she moved from a small northern town in British Colombia to Vancouver when she was 18. She attended both Blanche McDonald and Kwantlen University and studies fashion design. She knew right from the beginning that bridal would be where she might end up when her final line was a bridal inspired collection.
Upon graduating from Kwantlen, she worked for several private label companies before starting her business. She gained valuable experience and knowledge working for a other fashion apparel companies. Working with all type of fabrics and techniques she learned not only the good things to take with her but also the things that she would not do as a business owner.
Caroline’s passion was to create and design her own collection couture bridal accessories and gowns. When starting her business she noticed a need for uniquely created stylish bridal creations. . . She decided to design collections that would stand the test of time while being stylish and functional. She wanted her brides to look as special as they were feeling on their wedding day.
Caroline loves working with delicate fabrics and laces. She custom makes pieces for clients that want just the perfect piece. She will spend time fussing over all the details until it is exactly what they want.
Caroline started making jewelry to complement her collections in 2009. Brides would ask for pieces to go with already designed accessories. This line began to grow faster than expected prompting Caroline to take silversmithing classes in 2010. She continues to grow the jewelry collection and has a passion for making her brides sparkle.
In such a short time, her reputation has blossomed and she has been featured in countless editorials and televised media coverage. She shows her collections in several bridal shows and events throughout the year.
